I contacted Jack Nielsen about moving house contents from Italy to Ireland, last November. Initial contact led me to believe he/his comany were honest, reliable and professional. I was asked to pay half of the fee up front and remainder on delivery of goods. I promptly paid, his driver collected the goods on the time/day agreed. Delivery should have been 3 or 4 days later.
The goods were not delivered, and after many,many phone calls and emails,I was asked again for contact/payment details as the driver who collected the goods no longer worked for the company and had taken my details with him! I was advised by Jack's secretary/mother that on NO condition would my goods be delivered until full payment was recieved. The whole episode was extremely upsetting, I had no guarantee of the condition or even whereabouts of my things. For these reasons I insisted on our previous agrrement of COD. For the months of Nov/Dec I was given 3 seperate delivery dates all of which came and went without even a phone call on his part. I evetually hired another company to travel to Jack's office in England and they collected the house contents and delivered them safely to Ireland. I must thank Mark Miller for his invaluable help and advice (he posted a review on this website). I only hope that others will avoid the unneccessary stress and expense that I experienced.
