Ok - I needed to get a van transported from Kentucky to Oregon and got a quote from G&L based on the reviews here. Now after a week I enquired as to my status and received an email response that came across as a little short tempered and rude - not what I expected after reading everything here. Anyway, I'm giving these guys 5 stars regardless cause when I talked to Fred on the phone, he was extremely friendly and helpful - not what I expected after receiving his email. Anyway, talked to him about it - said I wasn't happy about the email - he answered all my questions - put my irritation to rest - even lowered their broker fee so I'd find a trucker faster (which they did). Everything from that point was pretty much perfect - within a few more days my van was picked up and delivered quickly without incident. Doesn't get much better than that. In addition, there quote was much lower than everyone else.
I'd def. use them again - they were very professional on the phone - just suggest they don't reply to email inquiries at 2am when they're grumpy :-).
