First of all I'll say that Fred and Gene at G&L are very nice to talk to. The problem is that give you the quote but are just a scheduling service and find you a shipper. I was quoted to ship a non-operational vehicle but when it arrived, it came on a truck that did not have a wench or the equipment to get the vehicle off and I had to pay a tow company in my neighborhood an extra $100 to get the vehicle off. Fred at G&L agreed that I had paid for the shipping service to handle this but the actual shipping service disagreed. I feel that Fred should have dealt with the shipping company but he wanted me to deal with them and refund me the $100 since I got my quote from Fred not the shipping company. In the end I was refunded $75 which was better than nothing however at the end of the day my original quote from G&L was not honored and all they could do was blame the shipping company and tell me they were going to write them a nasty e-mail after the deal was done... unfortunately that doesn't help me that much.
