....then there was the transporter. He wasn't one of Fred's but they were quick. He chose the wrong route and ended up 80 miles away from the destination point on a road not open to tranporters. The transporter wanted me to come get the cars from there??? Iadvised him he was being paid to deliver and told him I would drive to him and he could follow me from a different location. The driver complained the entire time. When we finally made it, he started teling me about how he asked for more money to do the job and what he got wasn't what he signed up for and that he now had to drive 80 miles out of his way and I should pay more money. It cost me $100 more. I talked to Fred afterwards and and assured him it has nothing to do with his review as he held up to his end of the deal and he assured me this carrier will get no more buisness from him. Job well done Fred. I am still pleased as it could have always been worse...right? Thanks a bunch.
