I researched companies for about a week while waiting for my purchase to go through. I had about a dozen quotes and G&L was 2nd from bottom on price (some were 3x higher). I was looking for 5 stars and a lot of reviews. G&L stacked up. Next I checked the BBB on G&L... Guess what, no complaints in 3 years (!) on HEAVY volume. Compare that to any other high volume company - try a few with 4 stars - good luck with that. I even went on uship and tried to arrange my own shipment before I made my decision. Fred did better.
The vehicle was dispatched within 24 hours of my initial order. But the truck in Utah picked up a vehicle before mine that was larger, and lifted (a big off-road toy, much bigger than quoted) which meant the driver could not pick mine up next because it wouldn't fit. Not Fred's fault, but I was a little disappointed.
In an effort to fix this, Fred arranged another carrier within 2 days and gave the entire amount to that carrier to help things along (Fred got nothing for his work and honored my great price. Now THAT my friends, is a testament to his integrity - he could have waited around for a better quote, but chose to get my vehicle shipped and keep me happy instead). My vehicle was picked up later than the first dispatch, but well within a reasonable time, much sooner than most guarantee, AND it was delivered from Utah in 27 hours after the next driver picked it up!!! That was Queen Express Corp, which I might add had an awesome, modern trailer and a really nice driver who kept me and the seller in Utah very well up to date. It took only a few minutes to lift all the other cars out of the way and drive mine off the bottom of the truck. I had no idea what engineering masterpieces these vehicle transports are!
Anyway, there is a reason only a few businesses get 5 stars, and certainly hundreds of reasons why nobody complains to the BBB. It's Fred. Great job guy, I researched it once and I'm done. All my future business goes to you!
