I had to move a car from Chicago to NJ and got quotations from a couple of companies. G&L were not the cheapest and not the most expensive ones but their rating on transportreviews was excellent and I was ready to pay for good quality. What impressed me most was the fact that they promissed not to go through any depots but that once the car is loaded it stays on the same truck until drop-off at the final destination!
I called and asked some questions and ordered pretty fast after that w/o calling other companies since G&L made a good impression. They said there was a good chance my car was being picked up at the beginning of the following week and delivered only some days later as the route was pretty common. To make long story short: Everything they said came true! I ordered Thursday, saying Monday was the first day they could pick the car up. They called in advance and came Monday evening and delivered to NJ Wednesday evening. They also made an inspection of the vehicle before loading, wrote everything down and handed out a copy.
The haulier they used was Montway in Chicago, they have a very good rating, too.
Would I go again with them? For sure!
