I want to start by saying I would challenge anyone to find a better transport company. This is the first time I have had a vehicle transported and am pleasantly surprised. I found my dream truck 800 miles away from my house for the deal of the century but no way to get it to my house. I started by filling out online quotes from “mass” quote websites. The next day my phone and email blew up with offers. After 10 or so offers and a massive headache, I started researching how to find a responsible transporter. I went the Better Business Bureaus website and immediately marked out half of the offers I had received and the prices were still a little steep in my opinion. I did a local search and came up with G & L Enterprise. I looked further into there rating which was an A and reviews, and requested a quote. Not only did they come in with the cheapest price to transport my vehicle, they had some of the best ratings overall and the total cost came at about the same cost as it would have taken me to fly to get the truck and drive it back. On Sunday evening, I scheduled Wednesday as the first available pick-up date for my truck. I received a call Thursday evening that the truck had been picked-up and would be at my house between 8 – 9 in the morning Friday. The truck arrived on about 11 and in the condition that it was shipped. The driver did call about 7 am and said he was having mechanical issues and called a couple more times letting me know what was going on. G & L made the process much easier than other companies. Many companies wanted my credit card information before they would even schedule the pick-up, not so with G & L. I worked with Fred, which probably was ready to kill me by the time the truck was delivered because I sent him at least one email a day asking questions. He answered very promptly every time and re-assured me that the truck would be shipped quickly. I don’t think I could have found a better company that was any quicker and hundreds of dollars cheaper than the other transporters. If you can’t tell by my review, I will be using G & L for any future vehicle transportation and recommend them to anyone looking for a responsible carrier.
