This whole process was a nightmare. I started the process on February 6th, went through one of the shipping auction websites. Daniel Garcia was the first to call me, quoted me $1050, which he told me was a good price for this kind of trip. For the better part of 2 weeks I was given the run around, heard 'tomorrow' a bunch of times, and all of the communication was initiated by me, emailing and calling, to see find out a status. After 2 weeks from the start of the process, I sent an email asking if they couldn't get the car shipped, to please let me know, so I could find someone else, I finally got a call that it would be done the next day. Charged me the deposit, but the cost had gone up to $1300. I also asked if the car could be salvaged wrapped, and was assured it could be, but it was not. When it arrived, it looked like it had been run through a desert. Mr. Garcia was honest with me on some things, but for the most part, I feel like I was given the run around. Had I to do it again, I wouldn't have gone with this transporter.
