When my first broker, who demanded his broker fee upfront, could not find a carrier within a reasonable amount of time, I became panicked and distraught. Luckily, I found Gold Star Transport Company, who was able to help me out.

I was moving from Connecticut to Manhattan and no longer needed my car once I moved. Due to the crazy prices of parking garages ($40 a day) and my hectic work schedule, I needed it to be shipped fast. I wasted 6 whole days on my first broker, who had promised to have my car shipped ASAP. My car was sitting in a Manhattan parking garage, costing me a lot of money each day.

Ellen completely understood my frustrations and set me at ease. She said she'd more than likely have a truck lined up for me the next day and would call me in the morning. Given the previous broker's assurances, I had my doubts. However, the next morning, she called with good news: she had a truck who could come to my neighborhood that evening and pick up my car. I couldn't believe it! The previous broker kept me hanging on for days with no results. The carrier was very professional and friendly. I felt safe handing over my car to him. 1.5 days later, it was safely delivered to my family's home in Michigan.

Ellen is a true professional who is very serious about her job, and she really cares about helping her customers. She only takes payment for her broker fee AFTER she has a truck lined up. She was amazing. If it weren't for her, my car would probably still be waiting in a Manhattan parking garage, costing me $$ every day.
