Gold Star Transport and their representative Dawn are shining positive examples of the auto transport industry. I was very apprehensive prior to the move, especially coming from the D.C. area where almost everyone embellishes "just a bit" on what they promise. At the onset, Dawn re-assured me of her commitment to my shipment; she said she would "babysit" my transport, and you know what - SHE DID. My Rabbit was picked up on the day I had requested and was delivered across country - all the way to SoCal, no only on-time, but two days before I was ready to receive it. The driver from CAA Transport (the contracted carrier) was very kind to my car. He picked up my car on a Thursday and delivered it to SoCal on a Tuesday (I was only available to pick it up on the next Thursday). Both the delivery personnel from CAA Transport were professional and careful with my car. If I ever have a chance to transport a vehicle, Gold Star Transport will be my first phone call. Well worth the $985 for piece of mind and timely delivery.
