Shipping a car is an unbelievably stressful experience, when you start researching, you'll find horror story after horror story on every single transport company you come across, except one, this one.
This was my first experience transporting a car and my husband and I had no idea what to expect. I made the mistake of filling out a form on some transport site, I had 50 calls/ texts/ emails within 10 minutes I'm not even kidding.
The very first call was Green Logic, I was a bit taken back to be honest but I will say Dan seemed incredibly genuine and I was grateful to have someone tell me how everything worked. I found out later he told me every bit of the truth.
Transport 101 the basics
For your information (as I understand it), there are very few companies that have their own in house drivers, whatever company you deal with you'll deal with the broker, the middleman. This broker will post your job on Central Dispatch a platform where all transport drivers access for jobs. From here all the drivers who want your job will call the broker. This is where having a good broker is key, if you have a shady broker who only cares about money, you could get a driver that could do ANYTHING with your car, hence all the stories on the internet. It's up to the broker to screen your driver, each driver has a rating % based on previous transports. The broker will charge you a fee for their service which is typically paid once the driver is scheduled and the driver gets his fee at delivery.
So after being contacted by at least 20 brokers I opted to go with the first, Green Logic. Why? Based on his honesty and after researching I found absolutely ZERO companies that didn't have several negative reviews on Google, Consumer affairs and BBB website (please check these all). Pay attention some companies have 2 profiles and will only send you the one that looks good. You will find ONLY POSITIVE reviews on Green Logic and this is so rare I had to stick with them.
We were shipping my husband's dream car, his classic Camaro, if anything happened to this car he would probably stroke out as would I. Green Logic vowed to find me a good driver, that they knew and one that would get his baby here without issue and on time. Maxine and Dan kept me informed every step of the way, it took a few days of waiting impatiently but I realized they were making sure it was the right driver, they passed on several with low ratings and I was most grateful.
I needed the car to arrive on Fri and still as of Thursday night I didn't have one, I was getting nervous. They both called me and told me not to worry. Fri morning SUCCESS! They not only found one driver but a high rated driver that would be there in an hour to pickit up.
The courteous driver called the seller, went over everything and even went to Home Depot to PURCHASE WOOD SO MY CAR WOULDN'T BOTTOM OUT!. He contacted my husband told him his exact arrival time and arrived EXACTLY on time. I was charged the exact amount I was quoted by both driver and broker without issue.
My 69 camaro arrived with a caring, professional, reliable driver and Green Logic Auto did everything they said they would. I cannot tell you how excellent this company was to deal with and in this industry you cannot risk using another company. I've never done this before but when I do it again there will be nobody else I call but Dan & Maxine at Green Logic. You need more information, message me but truly a Great experience that had I chosen otherwise might have not gone so well.
