I received many quotes that were anywhere between $650-$895.00 for the transport of our vehicle from Maryland to Colorado. I went with the cheapest quote (not that cheaper is better) but because I couldn't imagine what could possibly go wrong with an auto transport. I accepted the quote received from Todd at Head of the Pack, who's a broker and a joy to work with.
Initially, I was going to have this vehicle shipped at the end of Feb, but it didn't work out, even though a transport company was already dispatched. Todd was wonderful and understood that things come up and the transport was cancelled.
When the vehicle was able to be shipped, I went back to Todd, since he was so understanding the first time and wanted to give him the sale. He ended up using the same transport company that was originally contracted, the month before, so I was very happy. That company was CTC Auto Transport, Raleigh, NC. I can't say enough about them, always in touch and extremely friendly and courteous service.
My car arrived extremely dirty, but who cares, a trip to the car wash did wonders! If you have a new car or paint job, I'd recommend a covered carrier, though I'm not sure if it would really make a large difference, for the extra cost.
