Successful transport - Star, NC to Cols., OH

This is the 2nd time we've used this company, and have been pleased with them. We were moving a 1971 VW Beetle from Star, NC to Columbus, OH. It seems to be a very small company, because when you call or email, you always get to talk with Chari.

We ordered the transport on 6/19/06...thought it would be 1-2 weeks for pickup. The vehicle wasn't picked up until 7/11 although several transporters were interested earlier -- this was mainly due to the seller's limited window of pickup times available (after 5:30 pm M-F, or weekend only).

We had a problem with one transporter who tried to make contact to pickup the vehicle in the early afternoon, despite the time specs given; he was rude to the person he made contact with since he wasn't able to make the pickup. Chari took over and personally contacted the seller to make arrangements with the next transporter.

A transporter "Haul Your Ride" finally picked it up in Star, NC on 7/11. It was safely delivered 24 hours later in Columbus, OH. No damage, great communication (he even provided his cell#), the driver was very pleasant, courteous and enjoyable to meet.
