Summary:
I was contacted with a shipping rate of $498.00. I was working with three transporters for around the same price. I called Dan from Heartland 3 days after I got their email proposal. Right off the bat he said he had a driver for me. the only thing exchanged was my name and vehicle, I insisted that he take a minute to check to see if he really had a driver. he did, and said Saturday was the time my truck could be picked up. I signed the contract and paid the deposit. The deposit was $198. versus the other carriers they wanted about $100. I didn't receive a drivers name or contact info. Saturday came and went with out a peep from heartland. I called and was given the run around. Sunday came and went. same run around, blaming the mystery driver. Monday comes and I'm leaving voice messages and email with no call backs or replies. Finally I get a call back, Dan has a dependable driver, with a name, a number and a for sure pickup date and time. but it will be an extra $100.00 to the driver..... I agreed to the new rate. The driver was on time, communication was very good and I got my truck. .
