Michigan to Tucson

I had scheduled my truck to be sent from a small town in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan on the boarder of Wisconsin to Tucson, AZ. I paid Hilton $150.00 and the rest was to go to the driver. Well due to the fact that the vehicle was to be picked up in a small town, no one was biting at it. I had been in contact with Nicole (sp?) at Hilton many times and she even dropped there original charge from $150.00 to $88.00 (how nice is that!!!) to see if we would get any takers. I knew it would be a difficult move due to the location...so the wait was not a bother. Finally I got a call from Nicole and she had one guy that was going to come up from Detroit and wanted more $$$. I said, Green Bay, WI is about 80 to 100 miles south of my departure city. I had family that could drive it to GB so we tried that. I am serious...no longer that 5 minutes after listing the new pick up city, I got a taker (Schroeder Transport). Clayton (owner/driver) picked the vehicle up on Thursday the 17th of January and it got to Tucson at 2200 the 20th. I was extremely pleased with Nicole's professionalism and courtesy and with Clayton's desire to get one more vehicle. All in all, it took a little longer that I would have hopped...but like I said, I knew it was going to be a difficult move. I would definitely use them both again!!! Just a word to the wise...if you are shipping from a small town that is near a larger city or hub, try using that...you will probably get your vehicle sooner. Thank you Nicole and Clayton. I will spread the word!
