The company from which I bought this car (a beauty loaded 2009 BMW wagon with <3K miles) had a direct link to (and recommendation of) another transport company in their eBay listing, but I checked here for reviews first, and based on what I saw, I decided to try Hilton instead. (I'd previously shipped several cars FL-CA and back through another company, but they've since closed up shop.)

I literally could not have been more pleased with Hilton's service, both as to the auto transport itself, and as to the ease and professionalism of the client contact / relations. I closed the BMW deal with a TX eBay seller on Wednesday - Nichole at Hilton had the car picked up Friday morning outside of D/FW in an enclosed carrier and delivered to my doorstep in Miami the next day, Saturday afternoon, for a price 10% below the average quote for enclosed transport.

These days, independent auto transport jobs are nationally listed and bid on the Web, so as an ordinary, garden-variety occasional car shipping consumer, you are dependent on your shipping company (which has access to all the info on the the transport / scheduling database) mostly to select a carrier with a good record who will care for your new car appropriately. (My car ended up in a 2-car carrier riding with a Rolls being delivered to the Venetian Islands area of Miami Beach, and Nichole let me know beforehand that the transport driver was rated highly for his work. He was a very competent Romanian guy - He delivered my new car and was off to meet his friends in Lauderdale afterward.)

In this case, Nichole at Hilton not only had my car delivered a full WEEK before the drop-deadline I had set her, but also provided truly exemplary customer service - Steady and reliable phone and email contact on the status of the pickup / transport / delivery, even over the weekend. I got lucky on my scheduling, but that degree of contact is not a matter of luck - It's personal dedication to client service.

I have no doubt that I'll be shipping cars again in days to come, and I'll call Hilton first thing, without the slightest hesitation. If you read this, thanks again Nichole! Feel free to contact me with any questions.
