Avoid Hilton Transport if you can

My overall experience with Hilton Auto Transport was terrible. Nicole was rude and unprofessional. Two days before the scheduled date for pick up from San Diego, I was contacted by a subcontractor that Hilton hired to transport my car to Miami, FL. They asked me if they could pick the car up. I assumed that they were from Hilton and they loaded the car. When I called Nicole to confirm that my car would be delivered, she told me that she had no idea who had picked up my car and they must have gotten my cell phone number online when I had asked for quotes. Nicole was defensive and unhelpful. She yelled at me, told me she was a "great communicator" and told me I couldn't have my $200 back. Finally, she checked her computer and it turned out that the contractor who picked up my car WAS a subcontractor hired by Hilton. It seemed to me that Nicole had no idea what she was doing; and instead of trying to understand my situation and fix it, she tried to get rid of me. At the end, I gave Nicole my e-mail address so she could send me the information about the shipment. But, she NEVER e-mailed me. What a great “communicator”
For those of you who think Nicole had great customer service, my response to you: you were just lucky. The lesson I learned from this experience is to directly contract the shipment with the main contractor that would transport the car without Hilton as a "middle man". And if you can drive your car to your destination and avoid the shipping industry is even better. Good luck!

We are unsure why we received this negative review. The gentleman that posted this review was not the person who placed this order. His wife called us and we talked with her for over 20 minutes on how things would happen during the transport. When her husband called we did not know who he was but after a few minutes we located his order and we did not think there was a problem at all. The company we sent his car with is VERRY good they did a great job and we will use them each week just like we do now. Please do note Hilton Auto Transport is a broker. We have that info on this site the BBB and also at our web site.
