Order- 27 Dec, Pickup 8 Jan, Delivery 10 Jan

We made the order on the 27th of December, during the holidays- probably a tough time for scheduling.

A few days later we got a call indicating they had a driver, but they could only pick up on a Saturday. The car was at an autobody repair who was closed on Saturday.

On the 8th of Jan we got a call indicating they would pick up the car that night or in the morning and that they had sub-contracted it out to Accelerated Services out of Colorado.

Accelerated Services called and told us the pickup was going to happen but that they needed the shipping fee paid in advance via a credit card. It told them that's not what Hilton had agreed. Hilton asked for so much up front with the remainder cash to the driver. Accelerated said they didn't know anything about Hilton's policy but their policy has recently changed and required upfront payment.

So there was some disconnect between the 2 companies.

Earlier in the day on Monday the 8th, I did get a call from Hilton asking permission to increase the price a few dollars to get it moving, I agreed and then later a call again saying they had confused my order with someone else's, and the orginal price was still good. They seemed just a bit disorganized- perhaps it was the holidays?

The car came in on the 10th- quicker than I expected. They called in morning and luckily my wife was availble- a little more notice would have been good.

The car was a little dirty, but it came through storm- no big deal.

The drivers, Bill and Brian- 2 brothers were great! They dropped the car within a few miles from my house. They were courteous to my wife. They were very good, couldn't have asked for more. The apologized for the car being dirty. Hey it's winter- cars are always dirty.`

Scheduling and coordination with sub-contractor could have been better

We are so sorry that you feel this way. We talked you and let you know that if you had any questions during the transport to call us! We did not hear of ANY problems on this order until now. We even called you to make sure you received your car. We would like to be given the chance to help people, not given bad review for situations that we where not aware of. The car was perfect on the drop and that is due to us picking a good carrier. We again are sorry to Paul for any miscommunication and strive to help people get there cars safe and on time! We spoke with the transport company and they did not at all demand a payment the just said the could take it from him on a CC when the car was picked up.
