I have never had a vehicle shipped before, so when I needed to ship a large van from Grand Junction, CO to The Dalles, OR (a pretty off the beaten path route) I requested a quote from a big ticket auto transporter on the internet which was a mistake. After getting about 20 email bids and calls (all promising that they were the best and I would get screwed if I didn't use just them) I called a neighbor who is a long haul trucker & asked him who the best broker was.
He told me to call Honest Auto Movers. I called & spoke with "Captain Mark", he explained the whole process to me & was up front and very honest about fees and timing.
I went ahead and had Captain Mark charge my card $125.00. (well worth it) He was smart enough to check surrounding cities and wound up finding a hauler a lot faster than I was expecting and for about $300 cheaper than all the other quotes. My extended van arrived on time & the driver was very friendly even though he had just driven through 800 miles in the snow & ice (I tipped him $50)
If I ever need to ship a vehicle again it will be with Honest Auto Movers I highly recommend their service.
