I might be wrong, but this "business" feels like a scam to me. After arranging pick-up for my car, they quickly and eagerly took my deposit money of $100, and then the pick-up day came and nearly went- when I didn't hear from the day of pick-up, I called at the end of the day (three times, no less), and my sales agent then told me the driver was in an accident so couldn't make it. He said he "tried to call me" to let me know, which he plainly did not. Subsequently, I pushed him to reschedule and over 9 days went by, during which I called numerous times (agent is never there, voicemail is full so can't leave message), and barely responds to email. He finally says he can schedule a pick-up today or tomorrow, but another day goes by and he says he called me (but didn't). I call him and he says "I'm working on a pick-up for tomorrow." I told him I questioned whether their business is a scam because they can't provide service and are never there and that I needed a pick-up time or refund- he got angry and with an angry pout me he would refund me and hung up on me, with what seemed to be fake anger to cover his impropriety.
I don't know if this business is simply incompetent or fraudulent, but they don't do what they say they will do, don't call, don't answer, don't respond, and naturally are very eager to take your money.
I asked for a refund in writing today same day, which of course they didn't do. Ironically, their website literally says: "Should I pay a deposit before being given a carrier's name? In our opinion, you are crazy to do so." Apparently I was the crazy one. I will file a complaint with the FTC, who covers fraudulent and scam businesses.
