Enclosed Shipping for a Corvette

I purchased a 2012 Corvette Grand Sport Convertible Centennial Edition on 3/9/20 and needed it shipped from NJ to MI. I had never looked into shipping a car before, so I was pretty nervous. Since this car was in near-mint condition with less than 12,000 miles on her, I was even more nervous. Joanna from ICAT Auto Shipping, LLC was a dream come true. I loved the fact that she was very transparent, alerting me to things that other companies did not, and readily available via phone or text to answer any questions I had. After using a popular shipping brokerage site, I had been inundated with calls and texts trying to get my business and after a couple phone calls, my gut told me to go with her. One of my biggest concerns was that I was flying out to NJ to make the purchase and was only going to be in town for about 8 hours. I really wanted to be there when the car was loaded onto the truck and I heard that it was very common in this industry for drivers to be delayed (weather, traffic, picking up other vehicles, etc.) - possibly even until the next day or so. Joanna found me a transport company out of NJ who could pick up while i was there. They arrived close to on time (just 45 minutes off) and went over the car inside and out, taking photographs (which were then emailed to me before the car left my sight) to document the condition upon pickup. Later, when the car was delivered, I was able to inspect the vehicle and ensure all was as it should be. One other thing that I liked about Joanna and ICAT was that she did not ask for any money up front. Our contract was solidified electronically once the transport was located. I then paid a small deposit via credit card and then paid the balance in cash when my car was delivered safe and sound. Thanks again, Joanna and ICAT Auto Shipping, LLC for helping me out and finding me exactly what I was looking for in enclosed shipping for my dream car! I would not hesitate to use you again in the future. -J P.S. "FYI" to anyone interested, I could have booked open/non-enclosed transport for $300 or $400 less but I found enclosed to be very reasonable and only $50 more than I had expected and would highly recommend going that route for extra peace of mind if you have the funds for it.)
