Kyle and Intercede really got me out of a jam so I'm writing my story in detail to hopefully help someone avoid making the same mistake I did. When I first put a request in to move my SUV and my wife's car out to Arizona, I was overwhelmed by all the calls and emails I received. Some company's even texted multiple times a day. I had a month to prepare so I told all of the company's that kept contacting me every day to stop. Sometimes 3-4 times in one day from the same company. Then I started reading reviews and I can't even understand how some of these company's stay in business the way that they operate. Their reviews were terrible, one after the other. Then I found Intercede and they had no bad review's. Honestly I thought it was strange after seeing that every other company that I looked into had so many unsatisfied customers. One thing is for sure, you cannot hide from the internet if your business doesn't do the right thing for people. I'll tell you what though, they didn't call me 5 times a day, which was a plus. So I called and spoke with Kyle and he explained the whole process and warned me about falling for guarantees... He was very clear on what they could do and what they could not do. The fact that all of the transport company's work off the same system, they charge a flat rate broker fee and that they could only quote the current market rate which could fluctuate at any time. He also told me that the pickup could not be gauranteed exact dates that far out because even though the drivers want to be punctual, the can't predict traffic, weather, road construction, other customers, etc. He was the only person to tell me that out of all the transport company's I spoke with. At this point they were number one on my list. However I had many lower quotes and as a smart consumer I needed to make sure I was getting the best price. Not only price but also my pickup and delivery time-frame. So I found another company that I thought didn't have too many bad review's and they gave me a much better price. They gauranteed and put in writing the price and a pickup date. I was a bit concerned because Kyle specifically warned me about low prices and gauranteed pickup times but I just couldn't help myself and besides, I had it in writing. lol! Jason at bla bla transport kept assuring me that all was going accordingly. When actually it was not. In fact I was getting emails from a few of the other company's telling me that I was posted by a poorly rated broker on the load board and they were driving the cost of my transport up by the day. At this point I had paid the deposit and our cars were scheduled to be picked up in a few days. I spoke with Jason at- soon to be out of business Transport the Friday before our ship date and he promised everything was on schedule for the pickup date and the price he promised. Then Monday rolled around, three days until pickup- no Jason. Two days- not a word. One day- not returning calls, emails or texts. Ship day- checking to make sure my phone wasn't broken... So now we're flying out in 2 days and my shipper is on the lamb with my deposit and my sanity. Not only was my wife ready to kill me but I was at my limit. Honestly I was embarrassed because I thought that I had everything under control we'll ahead of time but I was just another sucker for Jason and soon to be out of business Transport. I almost didn't want to do it but I made the call to Kyle at Intercede. I really expected him to at least say I told you this would happen or something like that but he didn't. He was so nice about the whole thing. He actually apologized for us having to go through this whole mess. Seriously- what a great guy. He put us at ease right away. With my wife now directly involved I could not have any more mistakes. There were none after that. Kyle got right to work on getting our cars picked up. We only had 2 days but he didn't make false gaurantees. He promised they would do their best to get us going right away and their best just happens to be better then most. Our cars were picked up the next day! With a day to spare. On short notice, cleaning up another company's mess. Kyle and Intercede performed admirably. I promised I would leave a review a while ago but I have been so busy. My wife just found out yesterday that I did not write a review yet after what they did for us. So today I'm actually not permitted to even eat breakfast until this review is complete. They earned it. THANK YOU SO MUCH GUYS!!!
