The car arrived with a car cover on it, with an additional plastic cover over the car cover. The driver's seat was covered with plastic and there was a paper floor mat on the driver's side floor. The driver, Mark, contacted me on Friday with an expected ETA of Sunday afternoon, he contacted me again on Saturday evening to give me an arrival time and the car was delivered as planned. Watching Mark and his wife unload the car, it was easy to see that they are professionals in every way. They took their time and did not act like they were in any hurry, they even took time to chat a few minutes after unloading the car.

I received quotes from many different transport companies........I did my research and found that, unlike Intercity, almost all of them were brokers and simply arranged shipment by posting the bid on an auto transport dispatch board where truckers pick up loads. BY choosing Intercity, I dealt directly with the folks shipping my vehicle. The quotes I received ranged from $750 to $1800.......I paid double the cost of the cheapest quote to have Intercity move my car.......I believe the extra cost was worth it.
