This shipment involves transporting a Porsche from New England to the Pacific Northwest. After trying a couple of companies who couldn't even give me an idea when a pick-up and delivery could be made, I decided on Intercity, based on recommendations found on this site and a personal recommendation from someone who has had several expericences with the company. Intercity's central office (usually Jim) was very upfront on pickiup and delivery dates, indicating reasons (high season) for some delay in getting to the Northwest. As time was not an issue, this wasn't a problem -- I just liked the honest responses I was getting. Following the pickup, I could always call their office to get the status of the van. The delivery was perfect. Randy and his wife, Michelle, let me know several days in advance of arriving, then again a day before, giving me plenty of time to arrange for the drop off. Randy and Michelle were just great, spending plenty of time with me and my wife to assure the Porsche was ready to go. This is just a first class operation -- if you are going enclosed carrier, this IS the complany that you MUST consider.
