STAY AWAY!!!!

I was moving from connecticut to chicago and used this company to deliver my car to my destination. On initial contract I emphasized that my car could not reach chicago prior to the 17th of June because there would be no one to accept the delivery. I was told this would not be a problem. Prior to pick-up the communication was very poor and haphazard about when the pick-up would be, when the car was picked up (on the 12th) i told the driver again that i could not receive the vehicle prior to the 17th (which he wrote on the receipt), and suddenly on the 14th i am getting calls from the driver, the broker(mike) and the owner of the carrier to tell them where to leave the vehicle. Interstate auto wouldn't answer phone calls, wouldn't facilitate any solution and hung up on me when i would get through. I finally had to deal directly with the carrier company and my car ended up in tow lot.
After numerous phone calls i got in touch with Mike (customer service) at interstate was the person in charge of the move and after i asked for my money back told me that this is a common practice within this company. they take contracts they can't fulfill properly and he has to deal with lots of pissed customers but the company will not refund my money and i am responsible for all additional costs incurred even though this is their mistake. (i had to use a friends phone because they would not pick up when i used my own number)
I WOULD RECOMMEND EVERYONE TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.
This company is unprofessional, deceitful, greedy and lazy. They should not be allowed to stay in business.
