I paid a $150.00 deposit to have my car picked up in North Carolina for delivery to Montana. I planned to fly myself there and paid 360.00 for a plane ticket. A few days before the pickup was scheduled I called to confirm the pickup time. I was told they had not yet found a driver. In order to make it to my destination on time I was forced to drive the vehicle myself. I was promised a refund of my deposit. When no refund arrived I was informed by 'Laura' that they were having trouble with their credit card processing system and that they instead had issued me a check. Three weeks later and the check has still not arrived and the company has stopped responding to my emails and phone messages. I am out the cost of my refund and the cost of the plane ticket. My total loss is over $500. Originally I would have been happy just to get a refund of my deposit but I plan to sue them for the amount of the plane ticket as well.
I have the feeling this company is about to go under and would advise anybody to steer clear of these people. I just got off the phone again with Mr. Moran and once again was told the check was JUST sent out. I informed Mr. Moran that if I do not receive a refund by the end of the week I intend to pursue legal action.
