I paid $150.00 deposit to have my car picked up in North Carolina for delivery to Montana. I planned to fly myself there and paid 360.00 for a plane ticket. A few days before the pickup was scheduled I called to confirm the pickup time. I was told they had not yet found a driver. In order to make it to my destination on time I was forced to drive the vehicle myself. I was promised a refund of my deposit. When no refund arrived I was informed by 'Laura' that they were having trouble with their credit card processing system and that they instead had issued me a check. Three weeks later and the check has still not arrived and the company has stopped responding to my emails and phone messages. I am out the cost of my refund and the cost of the plane ticket. My total loss is over $500. Originally I would have been happy just to get a refund of my deposit but I plan to sue them for the amount of the plane ticket as well.

I FINALLY received a refund of my $150.00 deposit but only after getting the BBB and the Massachusetts attorney general involved. Neither was able to help me because they both told me that JMAC's cooperation was voluntary.

The only reason that I was reimbursed was because I complained to my credit card issuer but it still took 5 months.

I am still out the cost of the plane ticket that I was unable to use because I had to drive the vehicle myself. Not to mention 3 nights in hotels, gas, fuel, food, etc. A minimum of at least $750.00 which does not include the hassle factor
