Don't use this company! My mother (age 77) contacted them three weeks ago to arrange transport of her 2005 Mercury Montego from Michigan back to Florida on October 27th, after using this same company in the spring with no apparent problems. The first clue that something was not right was when they contacted her two days after her initial contact with them to come pick up her car THE NEXT DAY. This was about 2 ½ weeks before she wanted it sent back. Then on October 23rd, someone called again wanting to pick her car up the next day (Monday). She explained that her car wasn’t supposed to go back until Oct. 27th. She called the company on Monday and was reassured that her car was scheduled for pickup on Oct. 27th. I get home from work on Thursday, her car in still in the driveway, and when she was able to get through to JR’s, they would not let her talk to Karen, the person that she had spoken to before. They promised a call back, but no one called. I called around 5:30 and was actually able to talk to Karen, probably because she did not recognize my name. I got a lot of stupid excuses for no return call and was given the number of the person that was supposed to pick up the car ON THURSDAY. It turned out to be a wrong number – the person was not in the trucking business and didn’t know anyone in the trucking business. I called back but wasn’t allowed to talk to Karen – talked to Nicki instead. I was given another number which also turned out to be a wrong number (actually out of service). I called JR’s again – this time a very rude man answered and said that Karen had left for the day. I got off the phone and my Mom says, that’s funny, they work out of their home. Bottom line, they didn’t want to talk to me. Five minutes later, Nicki calls back, makes a big production of calling the person picking up the car and letting me hear the conversation, asking this gentleman to call us, which he did. The number JR’s gave us was incorrect, but this very kind gentleman informed us he was scheduled to pick up the car on FRIDAY, and that he had just picked up the order off the internet a few hours before.

Bottom line – I’m not sure what happened on their end but they lied through their teeth when dealing with us. What a way to conduct business! We will never deal with them again. Original price quoted was $875. We ended up paying $675 to the gentleman who transported the car.
