My broker found me a carrier ( K J Falcon ) to transport my car. I must confess that I gave her hard time about the carrier because the reviews about K J Falcon on this website (Transportreviews.com) were very bad. Ideally, I wanted a different carrier but that couldn't happen and I had no option but to take a leap of faith.
To my surprise, I had a great experience with my carrier company. Although, initially the driver (Alex) called in and said he will pick up my car on 26th April itself (a day early). I had to rush my packing and get all things done before I loose access to my car for 5 days. Alex got late in driving down to MD from NY and ended up picking my car on 27th at noon after all. So, only trouble I had was I got packed a day early which in a way is good.
My experience with Alex was great. He was very courteous, kind and pleasant. He picked my car close to my home and dropped it off in CA in 4 days again very close to my home. My car was in a great condition. It just got a bit dirty, probably from rain. I liked my experience with Alex and will use him or K J Falcon again and recommend them to my friends too.
