I shopped around for a while before deciding on King of the Road as my auto transport broker. They had a couple of negative reviews online, but nothing like some of the other horror stories that I had read about, and there prices were a few hundred dollars lower than some of the other, better rated brokers. Everything went very smoothly and I couldn't have asked for an easier process. The gentlemen I spoke with, Marc, made everything as clear and painless as possible, and he even reach out a few times by phone after we had already signed the paperwork to update me on what was going on and where we were in the process. The car was picked up on time and even delivered a couple of days earlier than expected. It was in the same condition as when I handed it off and has had no driving problems since. I realize this has not been the case for everyone who ships a car in general, but I would feel good about using King of the Road again in the future. Also of note, once they lock in your quote, they assume all extra charges that the carrier may try to impose on you and it comes out of their end of the payment. This actually did happen in my case, as the carrier asked for $100 extra, and King of the Road took this out of their portion of the payment. They were honest from the outset and made the whole nerve-wracking process as easy as possible.
