I HAVE GREAT THINGS TO SAY ABOUT KNICKERBOCKER!! Let me start by saying that if you come across -ALL STAR DIRECT AUTO SHIPPING- run!!! It's a scam, I fell for it and lost a deposit of $299, they gave me a quote of $799 asked for a deposit of $299 and pay the rest in CA, and when they were ready to pick up my car they gave me a different quote, now it was $1000 (I said, since I gave you a deposit of $299 it's only $700 more and got told no, it was $1000 more on top of the deposit so I decided to look for another shipping company, that's when I came across KNICKERBOCKER.
This time (unlike the first one) I read the reviews and I'm glad I did (has amazing reviews) I called them and I spoke with Eric, I explained my situation and he was very helpful, he gave me a quote of $1362 to ship my 1998 Toyota camry from New York to San Diego CA. I called him on a Thursday, and I needed my car to be picked up on Friday, I told him that I understood it was last minute and that if he couldn't do it, it was ok. Eric was so patient with me and said he would try to find a carrier for Friday, he said he'd call me Friday noon to let me know if he had found a carrier, and to my surprise he called just when he said he would, and gave me the good news! He had found a carrier!! He walked me thru the whole process (I actually learned a thing or two about what to do and not to do when shipping my car 😉) he answered my questions, he was available whenever I called back and he kept in contact with me until the end, he gave me the information about the dispatcher and driver (name and phone number) and said that if I had any doubts I could call him back (I didn't have to) frankly I am very happy and satisfied with KNICKERBOCKER & ERIC and I would recommend this company to my friends and if I ever leave CA again, I would definitely use them. Overall it was a great experience. Thank you so so so much for all the help! I was so overwhelmed, but Eric made me feel comfortable, he's honest and there aren't any hidden fees (like other companies)
