I spoke directly to Anthony in 5/6 July about transporting my car from Virginia to Alabama. I explained to him that I was in the military and was relocating to Colorado for duty and that my house in Va was pending sale therefore it was essential for the car to be moved within a reasonable time (7-10 days). He assured me that once I contracted (paid) him, he'd have the car transported to Alabama within 7 days. I departed Va and left the car in the hands of a friend (who by the way still have it) to give it to the driver as I traveled to Alabama to receive it prior to my onward movement to CO. Two weeks later, with no car or call from Anthony, I sent him emails and called only to get an email back stating someone would be willing to transport the vehicle for and additional $150-200 more than what we contracted. I tried calling, leaving messages for him to call me back in order to discuss it. No return calls, only emails stating someone would/ should be picking my vehicle up within 24-48 hours. Now it's mid August, I'm in Colorado (3 weeks) and Magic Car Transport will not return my calls or provide me with an update.

Also, prior to committing to the contract, Anthony told me that the company uses its own trucks and drivers which is a complete lie. I've hired a lawyer to retrieve my funds and will be reporting this issue to the US Military Legal Office in an effort to have Magic Car Transport added to the list of "off limit companies" and not military friendly. I do not want anyone else (especially service members) to be misled and defrauded as I have been.

Number #1: We never told you that we owned our own truck. This is clearly stated in the Terms and Conditions that you signed. Number # 2-We scheduled two different trucks to pick up your vehicle but your friend made very difficult on us because he was never around to meet the driver and Number# 3- As you already know your deposit already been refunded to you, even though we did not have to, because as I said we had two different drivers tried to pick up your vehicle. Magic Car Transport had to pay the drivers for their time and fuel. You sir are the one that is not being forthright. We did everything we could do to get you car picked up. Unfortunately for this site TransportReviews allows any customer to post anything from customers without investigating weather it is the truth or not.
