I needed to transport two cars from the early 1960's. One of the cars was fully operational while the other was non-op and had no brakes. Brandon assured me this would not be a problem. He had a couple carriers in mind for the job. The other issue with my transport was the drop-off location in rural Wisconsin. Brandon assured me the cars would be picked up by a carrier; however, the cost may be a little more than normal given the rural location (need to account for added diesel and time). My conversation ended with Brandon at 10:30 AM and he called back one hour later to inform me a carrier would be there the next day to pick-up both cars. The cars were loaded without incident and arrived at the destinatnon in rural Wisconsin 3 days ahead of schedule. The final cost of $1800 was roughly $100 more than other companies but the service was great and I only waited one hour for a confirmed pick-up. Brandon explained that lower fees are not always good for the consumer. A lower fee may sit on the transport board for a longer period of time, up to weeks, before a carrier selects the transport. A little higher fee helps carriers justify added fuel costs for an "out of the way" delivery. In other words, do not always select the the company with the lost fee, unless you have weeks to wait for a pick-up. In my case, I needed the cars gone in less than a week.
