I rarely write reviews, but this most recent experience deserves one.

It was my first time looking to transport my car cross-country, so it was a bit stressful. I was dealing with another broker and did not like how they were doing business. Luckily, I got a call from Anna about a quote I requested online. She was able to answer all my questions and concerns about the process as well as provided insight into how the transport business works. She also gave me the option to confirm the requested transport carrier after I looked them up and saw what others had rated them. The previous broker did not allow me to do so and even charged a cancellation fee before the car was ever picked up.

This was not the case with Magic Carpet, and after a few phone calls and emails between Anna and me, I decided to give them a try. Anna made sure I was comfortable with the entire process as well as choosing the requested carrier. Her personality over the phone and emails were very friendly, personable, and outgoing. She made me very comfortable because I felt like I was talking to a friend rather than someone who just wanted to make money, and I think that's how business should be done.

The carrier arrived a day early. It is important to note that I sent Anna certain dates and times the car was available for pickup. It was a bit restrictive and it meant there would be a limited window of time. Anna worked with those times and made sure the carrier was aware of it. The carrier arrived a day early AND on time. Pickup was fast and quick. I didn't even have to think about the car until the day it arrived in VA on a Sunday (a bonus). Driver was great in communicating exactly when and where he would show up. Car arrived in the same condition it left CA. Of course the car arrived dirty, but it traveled cross-country on an open truck, so that is something you should expect and can be solved with a quick car wash.

Overall, a fantastic experience, one I did not expect. If Anna had not called me that day, I probably would've stuck with the previous broker and regretted it. I would definitely recommend Anna and Magic Carpet Auto to anyone looking to get a vehicle transported. Thank you Anna!
