Fantastic Experience!!

If you are shipping your car across the country, I highly, highly recommend Felicia and the folks at Magic Carpet Auto Transport. I was shipping my car from Northern Virginia to San Diego, and had a limited time-window to do it in, yet Felicia made it work, and the car got to its destination on time and in great shape.

This was my first time shipping a car, and from the first time we spoke Felicia did a great job explaining the process and answering all (and there were a lot) of questions. The order was not an easy one - I had a very limited period of time from when I finished school in Virginia to when my car needed to be in California for when I started my new job. Complicating matters was the fact that my friends receiving the car were on vacation for much of this time, so the window when the car had to be dropped off was just a few days. And to top things off, I was out of the country on my honeymoon, so Felicia had to coordinate everything herself - which she did perfectly.

The driver arrived on day 2 of the 3-day window we had requested the car be picked up, and he was at the drop-off point even before appointed time. He was very nice, but more importantly very thorough as he inspected the car for previous damage - this gave me confidence that I was dealing with a professional.

The cross-country trip took 5-6 days, and Felicia was in constant contact both with me and my friends in San Diego. The car was dropped off on-time, and was in perfect condition (save for a little bit of dirt that quickly came off after a trip to the car wash). Ultimately, everything went incredibly smoothly.

My only complaint with the experience (and it's a small one) was that the actual cost was slightly more than the quote I received (~$75), but with the time crunch I had, I was more than happy to pay the elevated price.

All in all, I would highly recommend Felicia and Magic Carpet to anyone shipping their car. She is wonderful to work with, very professional, and did a great job. We are shipping my wife's car this fall, and will be using Magic Carpet again.
