This was my first time using a transportation company to haul anthing and let alone a new 2008 Mercedes E350. You hear the horror stories from the news but luckily after a few calls to other transportation brokers I found Amy at Magic Carpet. Can't say enough about how happy I was and am with the whole process. Learned a lot about this process. 1) you want door to door service, no terminals drop offs, 2) you want the diriver to carry a zero deductible insurance policy, 3) you want your car on the top rack while in transit (some cars leak oil). They did not mind the many phone calls I made to follow up on my new car.
CUSTOMER SERVICE was EXCELLANT. What I did not know is that they are owned by a much larger transportation company (2nd largest in the country) and that held a lot of weight when push came to shove. The driver's dispatch service agreed to ship my car even though the driver did not want to do it for the price they agreed. So the dispatch service found another driver because that would potentially hurt the relationship with Magic Carpet and the parent company.
I would without a doubt recommend going thru Magic Carpet Auto Transport because they definately protect your best interest.
