I called Lloyd Taylor of Magic Carpet Auto Transport after talking to another company, the other company quoted me $700. When I called the other company for pickup, the price had went to $960!
Lloyd quoted me $700 as well, l when I called him for pickup @ 9:08 Friday morning the the price was locked in.
THE CAR WAS ON THE TRAILER IN 4.5 HOURS!!!!! The car was picked up in Newton, Iowa, the truck driver and his wife helped my son push the car onto the trailer because it was not done yet.
THE CAR WAS DELIVERED 1000 MILES AWAY IN SAN ANGELO, TEXAS IN LESS THAN 36 HOURS FROM THE CALL TO LLOYD TO PICK THE CAR UP!!! The driver blind side backed the semi in the dark to my shop, put on the ramps and rolled the into my shop. It was absolutely perfect.
Now, I realize the truck being in the area already was probably a fluke but the level of service on this transaction was absolutely top notch. Lloyd was very professional, and the drivers were as well.
Oh, by the way, the quote was originally $700 but the total was actually $680.
The car I had delivered is my baby, a 1996 Mustang with extensive modifications for performance that had been sitting for several years. I was really nervous about shipping it.
DO NOT USE ANYONE ELSE TO MOVE YOUR CAR!
