I received over 20 quotes from auto transport companies. Since they are all brokers you would think that the playing field would be fairly level. It should be no surprise that this was not the case. I did not choose the least expensive broker. I chose the one that had positive comments and was the most attentive to my calls, questions and concerns. When my car wasn't picked up right away I was disappointed and the Magic Carpet staff was excellent in their response. They didn't respond as most transport brokers seem to, which is to ask for more money. They simply suggested that I wait a few days and be patient. They also offered to return my deposit. Many brokers make a big issue about companies that ask for a deposit. I suppose that would be an issue if the company lacks credibility . Once again, this was not the case with Magic Carpet. I am an appreciative customer and certainly recommend their service.
