After doing research and reading numerous reviews online, I was very skeptical on which company to use. Out of all out there, Magic Carpet Auto Transport seemed to be the best option, so I took a chance and decided to call. The phone was answered by a great CSR named Sue Garrison. She was very friendly and knowledgeable. She explained the whole process from start to finish and continued to keep in contact throughout the whole process. She was fair and honest as well. She quoted me $860 to start and negotiated a final price of $925, since the transport market was flooded with vehicles needing transport (still cheaper than driving cross country). The brokerage side of the auto transport with this transaction went great. The physical transport went good as well. The car was picked up Friday Apr. 5th and delivered Friday Apr. 12th. A company came and picked it up at my front door in California and delivered it to my other front door in Florida. The car arrived in excellent condition, slightly dirty, but thats to be expected traveling 2,200 miles on the back of an open transport. The transport driver was friendly as well. Since the whole process is hinged on getting a random transport company, the highlight is the brokerage you use to get your car shipped, they are the people that make it happen and Sue Garrison and Magic Carpet Auto Transport are A+ and the way to go when looking to ship your vehicle.
