My experience with Magic Carpet AT began as an errant phone call to Greg Bailey and somewhat humorous...
Originally I was inundated with quotes from Transport shippers and one of the quotes was from Magic Car......(not Magic Carpet). I looked them up on Transport Reviews and wasn't paying close attention but I pulled up the review for Magic Carpet AT and not for Magic Car......
I saw the excellent reviews and was impressed enough to give them a call to talk about the 'quote' from them. Greg answered my call and asked for my quote #...Greg said the quote # didn't match anything from them. He wondered if I was confusing MCAT for another company. Sure enough, I looked at the quote and it was a different but similar sounding name...duh, no wonder!
Oh well, Greg offered a quote since I was already on the line...serendipity!
Greg's quote was about the same as others price wise but I was impressed by Greg and MCAT and the way they presented their business and the calmness and directness of answering all of my questions...after talking with my final candidates I knew that I should give my business to MCAT.
I sent the deposit to Greg in the morning on 4-12 and was truly blown away when I got a call from Greg by lunch time saying that they had a truck to pick up my car that afternoon in Longmont Co and would deliver it 2 days later in Huntsville AL (1290 miles)...now that's what I call prompt delivery!
As promised my driver called me on Saturday letting me know he was on schedule for Sunday...we exchanged drop off location info and time...the truck showed up before lunch...that's less than 2 days!
The driver was courteous and patient and the car arrived without any damage...the driver Alvin also had a very detailed check list showing even the small scratch before loading.
I'm super happy with the whole experience.
Magic Carpet will be my first choice next time for quotes...highly recommended!
