I contacted Magic Carpet after having dealt with a couple of other companies that did not even return my calls after they took a deposit. At Magic Carpet I spoke with Amy for the first time and she was outstanding since our first communication. Amy was caring and concerned and I felt she was doing everything she could to help me get my car transported. She followed up with me to give me status, will return my calls and emails promptly and was always very honest with the estimated pick up time for the car. Magic Carpet takes information for a deposit however they do not process the amount until the car has been delivered unlike other companies that require a deposit immediately even before the begin to do any type of paperwork. I recommend Magic Carpet very highly to anyone who needs car transportation and I have the highest praise for Amy and her customer service skills.

I did experience a very stressful and embarassing situation with the carrier company, Monty's Auto Transport. First the driver could not find my address and my boss had to leave the office to meet him at a nearby location and have the driver follow him to the office, however the driver refused to follow him and told him that he was going to unload the car right there which was about 1/2 mile away from the delivery address because that was good enough for him and he continued to exhibit a very rude and almost violent behavior with my boss . While my boss waited for me to arrive, I had to ask one of my colleagues at the office to drive me to the site and upon arrival the first thing the driver asked was "Do you have my $750.00" I ignored his rude question and kindly asked him to allow me to inspect the vehicle even before he unloaded it, he refused to do so and threatened to take my car to storage. I insisted again that I all I wanted to do was to look around the car to make sure there were no damages and he finally told me "you got 30 seconds to do so or I am out of here" All this was happening in the presence of my boss and my colleagues to my great embarassment.

After getting my car I contacted Amy at Magic Carpet to inform her of the incident and she and her boss apologized profusively on behalf of the company and told me that they were contacting the carrier company to inform them about the situation. Amy and her boss contacted me a second time to assure me that they were following up the incident and that I should expect someone from Monty's Auto Transport to get in touch me.

Again, I appreciate Magic Carpet's assistance and service and by no means I relate my experience with the driver to Magic's service.
