POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND COMMUNICATION

On May 12, I hired Magic Carpet Transport to ship our car from Pennsylvania to Orlando Florida - I asked for the car to be delivered in Florida around 6-9, 10 or 11 - pickup starting 6-2 - I agreed to a price and off we went - on May 22, I asked if they had a company assigned to pick up our car and was told they were still looking for a carrier - on May 23, I received notification that the car would be picked up on June 2 or 3 - on June 2 no one contacted us - I called the carrier on June 3 - he was already in Florida and no idea he had to pick up our car as he claimed he did not have an order to do so. When I called Magic Carpet - Bryanna got right on it and did have another carrier assigned who would pick up the car on June 3 - or 4 - June 3 no pick up , June 4 told they would get it first thing in the morning - no pick up , June 5 told they would get it in the morning again no pick up - each time we were told NO PICK-UP we were the ones calling the carrier - no follow up was done by Magic Carpet - I paid them a fee and really feel that at this point it was not earned. Finally at 9:45PM June 5 it was picked up we called this carrier all day to see when it would be picked up and each time we were given a new time, but not even close to realistic.

Delivery was scheduled for June 7, 8 or 9 - it did arrive on Friday June 7 - NO Notice that it was being delivered - we did hear that they were in Jacksonville in the late afternoon and at 9:30 PM got a call we are here - we had gone to dinner after waiting all day - with the pick-up track record we had no idea when they would be there and needed to eat.

Car arrived safely and with no damage or problems, the driver for the carrier was a very nice gentleman, but he was not the man providing times - he was the driver .

What could have been done different - a follow up from Magic Carpet to make sure the first carrier received the order to pick up the car - communication to us -

Bryanna was a very nice young lady who was shocked when I told her the car wasn't being picked up by the first carrier - and that they had no order

Never heard from DON _ again - except with an e-mail enticing me to give a 5 star review for a raffle to refund my money -
