Well I was quoted $798. After a week they told me they could never get a truck for that price. Then the bumped it to $900. After 2 days they then Called me and told me they had a truck for $900 but I still had to pay their $150 fee. "They had given me a $50 discount!" The Truck driver Tracey (from The Transporter) was great. Called me directly told me where and when to get my car. He was a little late, but my car was well taken care of. When I get another car I'll Be calling him directly. As for Magic Carpet they low ball to get the contract and after wasting your time jack the price.
This is my second review. I had removed the first one on the word we would get a refund, giving them the benifet, that they realy wanted to do the right thing. Well one week later no refund.

Frankly we are a little,...... No we were a lot surprised that this bad review showed up. We decided to refund part of Kyles refund and did so on 5-08. I personally watched Nicole in my office send his refund back via his credit card. We called him on several occassions to let him know. The after Kyle recieved his refund he reposted his complaint.
The initial complaint wasn't worthy of a bad review either. If we are having difficulty getting a car moved at the price we have listed then as always we become proactive in soliciting trucks for the client. They tell us a price and a day they can pick up and we ALWAYS take that info back to the client and LET THEM DECIDE. Kyle forgot to mention that HE HIMSELF approved all of the additional costs. With gas prices for trucks at the highest level they have ever been in the history of mankind you wouold think our clients would be reasonable about the fluctuating prices. Some folks don't get the connection. We as a company apologize for any distress we caused this client and our failure to meet this clients needs
This is A thrid Post. I did get my credit. It was more of a Credit Card problem. They did hold up their Promise. And I DID approve the additional costs, only because of already wasting a week trying to get my car moved. I did not know how much longer I'd have to wait. As for the "gas costing more" You would figure a company that deals with this stuff should take it into account when making a quote.
