Shipping with Magic Carpet went flawlessly! I was very nervous about shipping our car after reading so many horror stories about other peoples experiences. I called a few brokers with some questions and got a few quotes but hadn't committed because none of those brokers felt right. Their answers were vague and general. Then read a few reviews about Magic Carpet and gave them a call. Right away I get Jim Egly. He was much more thorough and confident with his answers. Jim told me the car could be picked up in a couple of days and another 2 to get to me. I asked him why others were telling me pick up in 4-5 days with another 2-5 days for delivery. He was very familiar with the west coast routes and gave me a more concise estimate. I felt like he was genuine and wasn't feeding me a line of bull. I was immediately very comfortable after talking with Jim about shipping our car. He was like talking with an old friend. Although Magic Carpet wasn't the cheapest at $720, it felt right to use them. I couldn't give Jim an accurate pick up date due to purchase paperwork delayed in the mail. I kept having to call him and move the date back. He said, "no problem, just let me know when it is clear and I will get it picked up". This was important because we needed the car as soon as we could get it. I finally got the ok to pick it up in the morning. Jim got it picked up and delivered to us within 24 hours of me letting him know that it was ready! Throughout the process, Jim was calm, reassuring, professional, and accurate. I highly recommend Magic Carpet, and especially Jim, for your transport needs. You won't be disappointed.
