It took longer than expected to pick up the vehicle but from then to delivery was excellent. No issues, no problems, reasonable transport time, driver was professional, helpful, and simply outstanding. Price was reasonable.
I have no complaints. Since this was the first time I used a car transport service I had no idea how it really worked. Next time, now knowing how the process works, I'll be more at ease with the possibility of potential delays in picking up the car. I think Magic Carpet was upfront about the possibility of it taking longer than expected to secure a transport vehicle but I set my own level of expectation considerably higher.
I learned that Magic Carpet is a broker and secures a position for the car on other company's equipment. There can be an unexpected delay when trying to find a spot on a truck going to the intended destination. This is totally out of their control and they seach continually to locate a service with space going to the customer destination. I didn't fully understand the process so I was a little apprehensive while waiting to be notified of the actual pickup date.
Once the truck arrived and I met the drivers (there was a small language barrier), I was totally impressed with the way they handled the transaction and loaded the car. Upon arrival in Los Angeles, the drivers bent over backwards to accomodate my daughter in picking up the car and handling the payment. I was extremely impressed.
