Excellent Customer Service/Policy Needs Attention

I've used several transport companies on this website, and Magic Carpet (Casey Jackson especially) is simply outstanding at customer service and overall competency. However, this company requires a re-work of their contract policy; specifically- prohibiting their couriers from driving vehicles beyond loading/unloading.

Unfortunately for me, the trucking company Magic Carpet subcontracted (Nicholas Auto Transport) felt it in the right to pickup the vehicle and *drive* it (uninsured) approx ~200 miles, before loading it on the transport trailer. In doing so, they expended MY fuel, MY wear and tear, and MY depreciation. This is absolutely unacceptable on any vehicle, and was especially disappointing considering the vehicle they were transporting for me was a special, new vehicle- purchased for it's extremely low mileage and mint condition.

Until Magic Carpet makes a policy change to re-enforce this policy, there is a high likelihood that it will be repeated. I personally hope that they do, because otherwise- they appear to be a solid company. A repeat of this case however, they cannot afford.
