I called Don on a Friday, he anticipated that we may not get a shipper until Monday but then had one booked at the estimated price within an hour, pleasant surprise! Don at Magic Carpet is a Broker, and as such was very helpful in getting the process going and connecting me with a shipper at a reasonable price. He communicated all steps excellently and answered all of my questions, so I was very comfortable. Shipper stated that they could have the car picked up on Saturday, but did not pick up until Monday. Also did not leave CA until the following Friday. I don't hold Don or Magic Carpet responsible, as I did not specify any rush. This was not a big deal for me, however it may be for other customers. Shipper also did not communicate well, I had to call to verify departure date and delivery date. Don and Magic Carpet excellent; shipper, not so much.
