I was really surprised by the poor customer service from Magic Carpet being a company that is rated so high on this website.

Initially, I was unsure about going with Magic Carpet to transport my 69 Corvette. Casey assured me on a Friday that if I went with them they would have a driver to pickup the car at the beginning of the following week. The driver did not pick up the car until 6 days later.

When I found out the driver actually picked up, only by calling the driver my self, (I would have not found out otherwise) the driver tells me he is charging me $100 more because he had some problems starting the car. I disagreed with the amount and the driver tells me I won't get my car unless I pay the extra $100 ( great professionalism ).

Every time I got an update on where my car was, I had to either call Magic Carpet or call the driver myself ( why have a broker?). When I told Casey that I was not pleased with their customer service or the whole experience in general, I was told that "It sucks getting your car transported". I have not been contacted since. I got the distinct impression that the broker was more concerned about the truck driver than me, the paying customer.

I will never use Magic Carpet or John's Trucking again.

CASEY JACKSON DIRECT FOR FREE QUOTES 360-853-2823 casey@magiccarpetautotransport.com Brian so sorry you feel like this , But when your car will not start and we have to wench it on , the carrier will ask for extra fee for a inop vehicle . Its sad because everything was just fine but when the carrier wanted an extra fee $50 to wench your car on the truck you act like I am not doing my job you could of at anytime said no i will wait for a different truck .
