I used Doug from Magic Carpet when I was looking to have 2 vehicles transported across the nation. He was very knowledgeable and upfront with me about the whole process. He gave me the confidence I needed to select Magic Carpet after about a week of researching transport companies. My vehicle was picked up right on time and delivered to its desired destination a day earlier than expected. It took only about 6 days to go from the far east coast to the far west coast. The early delivery worked out great for me since I was using a rental car and could save money turning it back in early. Igor's trucking was used to delivery my vehicles and they are highly recommended, if they can be used. The pricing was the best I found at $2600 for 2 vehicles. The first $600 was a deposit to my credit card at the time the vehicles were picked up. The other $2000 was given to the truck driver in cash on delivery. Both vehicles made it through the transport with no problem, no damage. They got a little dirty from the cross-county trip but that is to be expected when they are on an open trailer. A quick car wash clears up that problem. Magic Carpet is an excellent company and Doug is the person you want to speak with if you decide you need a transport company. If your still hesitant, the least you can do is just call Doug and check out the details. He doesn't leave anything out and gives you an idea of how the transport business works. I never do reviews on anything, but felt it important to give my opinion on this company.
