After searching and searching for the most affordable and most reliable transporter, it came down to making the decision of whether I wanted to pay less and sacrifice the well being of my car or pay a little more and guarantee my car arrives in the same condition it left. The customer service at Magic Carpet also helped me feel at ease doing business with them, regardless of the somewhat hefty price.
First, I'm a pretty high maintenance client. There were a lot of things I requested that no normal consumer would ask: daily updates, top level on semi, not more than .5 mile added to the odometer. Now if I were REALLY concerned, I would've paid an extra $600 to transport it in an enclosed truck and would've received the car in 4 days, not 6. Needless to say, I didn't receive updates, the car was on the bottom level, and about half a mile was put on the car.
I can't complain because my car arrived in the same condition it left. I rate them satisfactory and would do business with them again. But don't bother requesting certain things like I did, they'll just say they will and completely disregard it
